A leader in the affordable Swiss watch category, Tissot is owned by the Swatch Group. It is well known for the Rock watch that it unveiled in the 1980s, whose case was made of rock from the Swiss Alps. History of Tissot

Founded in Switzerland’s Le Locle in 1853 by Charles-Félicien Tissot, a gold case fitter, and his watchmaker son Charles-Emile, the father and son team started by producing a large range of pocket watches and pendant watches in gold. Today, the brand has a number of collections including the T-Touch whose functions are activated by touching the sapphire crystal, the Chrono XL, Le Locle Chronometer and the Heritage to name a few. Tissot is part of The Swatch Group.
