The ZENITH Pilot collection, relaunched in 2023, combines elements from the entire history of aviation, maintaining key principles like durability, legibility, and intuitiveness. Moving beyond mere replication of historical designs, ZENITH opts for a contemporary approach with aviation-inspired touches. The collection features the Pilot Big Date Flyback Boutique Edition, which showcases ZENITH’s signature deep blue color, reminiscent of the night sky.

This model, housed in a 42.5mm stainless steel case, is equipped with the El Primero automatic high-frequency chronograph calibre and includes two aviator-favored features: a large, easily readable date display and a flyback function. The big date display features an advanced mechanism for quick and stable changes, with its wheels colored in the same blue as the dial. The flyback function, initially designed for pilots wearing thick gloves, allows the chronograph to be reset and restarted with a single button press, facilitating the recording of consecutive times.

The El Primero 3652 calibre, with an “artificial horizon” rotor, is visible through the display back. The Pilot Big Date Flyback Boutique Edition comes with a blue cordura-effect rubber strap and an additional brown calfskin strap, both featuring an integrated quick-release mechanism for tool-free swapping.
