The new watch is based on the Big Bang e that was released earlier in 2020 but with a host of new features for the avid football fan. The 42mm case is in lightweight blue ceramic with a matching rubber strap, the core color of the UEFA Champions League. Various dial options are downloadable from the Hublot Store either in the core blue or a customized color to match your favorite team.

Powered by Wear OS by Google the watch comes fully loaded with the Hublot Loves Football UEFA Champions League app. You will be notified 15 minutes before each game starts, as well as for each goal, yellow and red card, substitutions, and whenever extra time is added. The app will also show you team line-ups and VAR decisions, and as soon as you receive the signal that the game is over, it will also begin a countdown to the next one. It is also possible to follow two games at once as you can switch between screens with a simple tap. If you are already the owner of the original Big Bang e, no worries, the app is available to all Big Bang e owners.

Even the referees will be wearing a special composite version of the Hublot Big Bang e that is even lighter but will not be available commercially. This version will include additional technology designed to help the referee, including goal-line technology that signals to the referee when the whole of the ball has crossed the whole of the line. Meaning that even when the penalty area is crowded it will be clear whether a goal was scored or not.
