An ultra-technical emerald green case material for the Hublot Mp-11 Green Saxem
Hublot has managed to industrialize the process of making sapphire crystal cases in a range of colors (black, yellow, red, blue and clear) but wasn’t able to find a satisfactory solution for green sapphire, so the brand went back to the drawing board. After much research, it has unveiled a new material called SAXEM, which combines the resistance and brilliance of diamonds.
Within this green transparent 45mm case sits the brand’s HUB9011 manual-winding skeleton movement with seven barrels mounted in a series. The movement has an impressive 14-day power reserve and features a power reserve indicator on a cylinder to the left of the seven barrels, facing the “DAY POWER RESERVE” inscription on the sapphire glass. The timepiece is strictly limited to 20 pieces.
