Hublot and renowned chef Andreas Caminada have unveiled a special timepiece to mark the 20th anniversary of the Schauenstein castle’s restaurant. This limited-edition watch, the Big Bang Unico All Black Schloss Schauenstein, represents a blend of haute horlogerie and culinary artistry. The partnership between Hublot and Caminada began in 2017, reflecting their shared values of precision and innovation in both watchmaking and gourmet cuisine.
The watch features a 42mm microblasted black ceramic case, black plated titanium details, and a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment, all contributing to a sleek, modern aesthetic inspired by Caminada. Technically, it houses the Hublot HUB1280 self-winding chronograph movement, offering a 72-hour power reserve, improved accuracy, and enhanced performance with five patents. Special design elements include a skeletonized dial and a depiction of Schauenstein castle on the case back. Each piece comes with a custom knife and a booklet signed by Caminada, reflecting his passion for precision and authenticity.
