Emphasizing this association, IWC is launching The Pilot’s Watch Performance Chronograph 41 AMG, highlighted by ceramic bezels with tachymeter scales, is ideal for a dynamic lifestyle. It features a lightweight titanium case, pioneered by IWC in 1980 through collaboration with Aérospatiale. This grade 5 titanium is about 45% lighter than steel, offering high strength and rigidity, and is used in automotive engineering. One version of this watch comes with a black rubber strap, while another has a titanium bracelet.
The new Pilot’s Watch Performance Chronograph 41 AMG includes a ceramic bezel with a tachymeter scale for measuring average speed over a distance. The watch has a black dial with Super-LumiNova®-filled blackened nickel indices for readability, and a polished black lacquer finish, showcasing intricate craftsmanship.
Inside, the Pilot’s Watch Performance Chronograph 41 is powered by the IWC-manufactured 69385 calibre movement, designed for robustness, reliability, and precision. It features a bi-directional pawl winding system with a 46-hour power reserve and column-wheel chronograph control for clear phase definition and tactile button resistance. The movement’s assembly and testing processes are meticulously carried out at IWC’s Manufakturzentrum to ensure top quality.
