Jaeger-LeCoultre unveils La Vallée des Merveilles™ a new concept built around Métiers Rares™ artistry and nature inspired storytelling. Presented at Watches and Wonders Geneva this evolving series of limited edition capsules explores the beauty of the natural world through the Maison’s finest decorative crafts. The debut release focuses on the iconic Reverso One introducing three highly exclusive references made in pink or white gold each limited to just 20 pieces. Rooted in the Vallée de Joux the collection draws on nature as a reflection of time itself.
The first capsule moves from Hawaii to Japan translating rich landscapes into miniature works of art. Two Hawaiian inspired models capture the islands’ tropical intensity with hibiscus flowers exotic birds and vivid enamel work. Techniques such as Grand Feu champlevé enamel paillonné gold leaf and snow set diamonds create impressive depth and brilliance with over 100 hours of handcraft per case. The pink gold versions are lavishly set with hundreds of diamonds while complex enamel colours especially deep reds highlight the technical mastery involved. The reversible case reveals detailed scenes on the back.
The third piece shifts to Japan celebrating cherry blossom season with a poetic scene of a red crowned crane by a lake. Combining enamel miniature painting and advanced gem setting the design uses diamonds and sapphires to recreate light reflections on water. Across all three watches Jaeger LeCoultre’s Métiers Rares™ atelier demonstrates exceptional craftsmanship from engraving to enamelling and stone setting. On the dial side the look remains refined with mother of pearl and the manually wound Calibre 846. The result is a trio of Reverso One creations that combine art nature and high watchmaking into collectible pieces.
