The three hand model runs on the Ronda 215, a movement developed in Switzerland and engineered to convert light into sustained, precise power. Fully charged, it runs for eight months without further light exposure and operates for over a decade without a battery change, a meaningful improvement over conventional quartz calibers. The stainless steel case carries the line’s signature Pontos lugs, a unidirectional rotating bezel with aluminum insert, and a screw down crown, with the caseback engraved with a maritime compass and waves and water resistance rated to 200 meters.
Legibility benefits from a two tone Super-LumiNova scheme powered by the same solar energy that drives the movement, with blue marking the minute hand and first fifteen minutes of the bezel and green covering the hour hand and remaining indexes for quick visual reference in low light. A limited edition pairs a black dial and Gun DLC treated case with fluorescent green accents on the flange, minute hand outline, and seconds hand tip, finished with a matching rubber strap. Beyond this limited run, the model expands with black and blue dial options alongside black, blue, or green aluminum bezels, each fitted with a tool free interchangeable strap system offered in rubber or a five row brushed and polished bracelet.
