The P-Series has always been Sevenfriday’s most expressive family, and the P1C/06 does nothing to temper that reputation. Known as “Bubble Gum,” it draws on the saturated, more-is-more energy of 1980s design and channels it through the brand’s signature multi-layer dial architecture, a construction that gives every P-Series watch its characteristic depth, and here produces something closer to a candy counter than a conventional watch face. The result is bold without apology, which is exactly the point.
The dial is built across four layers, with a glossy mauve outer ring, a papaya-hued inner dial, and pink lacquer-filled indexes sitting above a pastel green upper plate, the whole assembly lit by Swiss Super-LumiNova on eleven applied indexes. The contrasts between those tones, warm against cool, glossy against matte, give the dial a visual complexity that rewards a closer look. The squircle case carries a white ceramic top bezel, animation ring, and crown, providing a clean, bright frame that keeps the palette coherent rather than chaotic.
Under the case sits a Miyota automatic movement, with a sapphire crystal over the dial, anti-reflective coating, and water resistance to 10 ATM. An NFC chip in the caseback enables authentication and registration through the Sevenfriday app, a practical feature that sits alongside the watch’s more obvious charms. Production is limited to 350 pieces worldwide.
