Delbana Introduces the Hand-Wound Recordmaster Mechanical
The new Delbana Recordmaster Mechanical watch marks Delbana’s continued focus on mechanical watches, paying tribute to 90 years of watchmaking with a touch of nostalgia.
Delbana has recently launched a new version of their popular Recordmaster watch, designed to celebrate the traditional craft of Swiss watchmaking. This new edition, the Recordmaster Mechanical, is a perfect blend of classic performance and modern design. The watch pays tribute to the original 1950s model and the anniversary Recordmaster I while incorporating new original details to give it a refreshed look.
One of the most significant features of this watch is its hand-wound movement, which is Delbana’s first in decades. This feature invites the wearer to connect tactilely with their timepiece, evoking a simpler time when wristwatches were essential without relying on digital technology. The absence of a date window and the slim 10.8 mm case are subtle nods to the original vintage format. The watch’s applied arrowhead indexes and retro Arabic numerals coordinate with the classic stainless steel or new yellow-gold PVD case, creating a sophisticated and timeless look.
The dial of the Recordmaster Mechanical is thoughtfully designed, featuring a minute track with oversized circular luminous hour markers that frame the watch’s signature stepped microgrooves. The minute and hour hands are cathedral-shaped and luminous, along with a striking red central seconds hand, giving the watch a vintage and classic feel. The transparent case back of the watch allows the user to experience the unmistakable quality of a mechanical Swiss Made timepiece, with the SW210-1 hand-winding movement with 18 jewels visible.
The latest collection of Recordmaster Mechanical watches is now accessible in classic silver dial with black incised grooves or the reversed black with silver grooves. Additionally, the new line also presents neutral color combinations, such as champagne and copper, paired with silver or black grooves that frame the intricately designed central guilloche pattern dial. The watch’s refined shape and hand-made Italian leather strap in brown or black complete the ode to affordable luxury.
