The well-known automatic double time watch “Levels,” distinguished by its multi-layered dial, now introduces two new color variations, gray and golden brown. The choice of these distinctive hues holds significance, drawing from Johann Wolfgang von Goethe’s color theory which praises gray for its ability to enhance other colors splendidly.
The new gray Level model showcases a colored stripe of indefinite shape, subtly yet decisively accentuating the importance of the gray color. Balanced by rose gold-colored tiers of varying heights, and complemented by a grayish-blue genuine crocodile leather strap, the overall aesthetic is harmonious, light, and elegant.
The second new version features a warm golden brown tone, evoking a sense of warmth and soulfulness. Alexander Shorokhov’s intent is to touch the viewer’s soul, a recurring theme in his extraordinary compositions. The combination of golden brown with cold silver-toned tiers creates a harmonious balance, reflecting Shorokhov’s mastery of color and philosophy, as inspired by V. Kandinsky’s belief in the soulful influence of color.
Both models maintain the multi-level design, with a creatively integrated magnifying glass above the calendar window for easy viewing of the date from the refined ETA movement 2671. This detail, resembling a monocle, highlights Shorokhov’s creative ingenuity. As with previous models from the Alexander Shorokhoff brand, these new additions adhere to the “art on the wrist” philosophy and are limited to 99 pieces per dial color.
