Speake Marin introduces the Resilience Midnight, a poetic new release unveiled for the Spring Equinox on March 20, 2026. Inspired by the fleeting balance between day and night, this elegant timepiece captures celestial harmony through a beautiful aventurine dial. The deep blue surface, flecked with shimmering copper inclusions, recreates the illusion of a star-filled sky, offering an almost cosmic presence on the wrist.
Housed in the iconic Piccadilly case, the Resilience Midnight stays true to Speake Marin’s design codes while introducing a fresh, contemporary edge. Available in grade 5 titanium or 5N red gold, the rounded case features polished finishes, sculpted lugs, and a distinctive fluted crown. The dial layout is unmistakably Speake Marin, with bold Roman numerals, a white წუთ track, and the brand’s signature small seconds positioned at 1:30. The unique hand set, featuring a heart-shaped hour hand and double-leaf minute hand, adds character, subtly referencing London’s Elizabeth Tower. A midnight-blue alligator strap completes the look, adding contrast and depth.
Powering the Resilience Midnight is the in-house SMA03 automatic calibre, developed at Le Cercle des Horlogers in La Chaux-de-Fonds. Equipped with a micro-rotor for slimness and efficiency, the movement delivers a 52-hour power reserve and operates at 4 Hz. Visible through the sapphire caseback, the calibre showcases traditional finishing, including Côtes de Genève, anglage, and a circular-grained mainplate. With its mix of astronomical inspiration, artisanal dial work, and serious mechanics, the Resilience Midnight positions itself as a distinctive luxury watch for collectors.
