Zenith Chronomaster Sport evolves with an expressive take on one of the brand’s most recognizable chronographs. Built on the legacy of the El Primero, the first automatic high frequency chronograph movement, this latest version carries decades of watchmaking expertise while introducing a softer, more versatile look. It does not abandon its sporting roots but presents them in a more balanced way, where performance feels effortless rather than overstated. The result is a watch that feels just as natural in everyday wear as it does in more formal settings.
The 41mm case keeps the sharp lines and well judged proportions that define the Chronomaster Sport, now featuring a mix of stainless steel and rose gold. This combination adds warmth and depth without losing the technical feel of the watch. The rose gold bezel, crown and pushers create a subtle contrast against the steel case. On the dial side, the mother of pearl surface plays gently with light, adding a layer of visual interest without feeling decorative. The signature overlapping subdials at 3, 6 and 9 o’clock remain, preserving the identity of the El Primero while ensuring clear readability.
Powering the watch is the El Primero 3600 calibre, running at 36,000 vibrations per hour and capable of measuring time to one tenth of a second. The central chronograph hand completes a full rotation in ten seconds, turning performance into something you can actually see. Through the sapphire caseback, the movement reveals its column wheel construction and openworked rotor, highlighting its mechanical complexity. A power reserve of 60 hours ensures reliable daily use, while the integrated steel and rose gold bracelet completes the design with a seamless and practical finish. Limited to just 50 pieces.
